SunONE hangs after executing application
After executing an application (something simple like "Hello World", the user can't switch anymore to the edit menu - the whole IDE hangs in the debugging environment.
Running Windows 2000 in this machine, jdk 1.4.1, and the newest update of SunONE studio.

There is a bug in JDK 1.4.1 and debugger in Sun ONE Studio/Netbeans. The IDE hangs as a result of this bug. This affects all kinds of debugging, J2EE, J2SE and J2ME. This is being resolved. In the meantime, you can use the following workaround:
Install a previous version of the JDK and modify the ide.cfg in the %forte root%/bin directory to point to the older JDK.
