IDE hangs in debug - Sun One EE Upd 1

Anyone else having the IDE hang consistently when try to debug projects ?

I'm trying to convince people in my organization that Sun One is a better product than its competitors. Its not helping much that when demonstrating the IDE it keeps hanging when debugging code !!!!!!!

I am running Sun One Studio 4 Update 1 with JDK 1.4.1 on WinNT SP6 with 512MB RAM

I have searched various forums and found several postings from other people with similar problems, one suggested it was a problem with JDK 1.4.1 ? (Any comment Sun)

So far I have seen nothing from Sun on this topic. If we can't get it sorted soon I'll be forced to back down and have to settle for IBM's solution.
