IMS5.2/IDS5.1 on different machines, ldap config error

Folks,

I have ids 5.1 from the install of solaris9. I am trying to install IMS on a solaris 8 box and use my current ids. When I start the install and it tries to write to the ids it get the error in my logs that it can't add 'cn=Delete me, ou=<domain>, o=NetscapeRoot'. I can write to that location with the directory manager or the admin account.

How do I get IMS to install with this ids?

Have you run the ims_dssetup script on the Directory Server?

Yes and the finished fine.I fixed the problem by uninstalling the ids that comes with solaris 9 and install the downloaded version.It works fine now.keith
