no domainadmin info installed with IDA 5.2

I have previously successfuly installed iDS .1, iMS 5.2 and iDA 5.2 on one Sun Solaris 8 box and it all seems to work. I am trying to do the same on another, and although all the installs appear to complete, the resulting databases contain no domainadmin user. I have tried carefully reinstalling all the products from the saved install.inf caches to see if I could figure out why this user was never created. I'd appreciate any suggestions--does the lack of this user suggest something else went wrong with the install?

Importing the domainadmin user from a previous successful install of IMS 5.2 solved my problem--as all the ACLs were in place, all I had to do was use ldapmodify -a to add the user and I was able to use the new domainadmin account to manage the domain through IDA.
