maximum message queue time ?

in the documentation of iMS 5.2 (about the Grace Period of the message store), i read something about a maximum message queue time, which seems to be a superior limit of how long a message can stay in a queue (channel ?).

unfortunately, it isn't specified anywhere how you can change this queue time, and what is it's default ?

anybody knows someting about this ?

If you're talking about channels (queues) other than the ims-ms channel then look at the channel keyword 'notices'.This channel keyword controls how long a message can remain in queue.

As for messages in the ims-ms queue, this channel is different, I believe. Try checking the configutil parameter, store.quotagraceperiod, this will control how long a message can remain in queue for a user who is over quota.

If the user is not over quota and yet the message is still in queue, then something else is amiss. In which case I suspect the 'notices' keyword will come into play.

Hope this helps,

Chad
