hostnamealiases

We're using Messaging 5.1 on NT. I need to specifiy multiple hosts for local dilivery, and have tried setting the hostnamealiases (per messaging admin.pdf pp. 117 & messaging reference.pdf pp. 178). The command I've issued is

./configutil.bat -o local.imta.hostnamealiases -v "host1.wnmu.edu,host2.wnmu.edu"

Although there is no error reported, only the first host is set (if I reverse the order 'host2' will be the only entry in local.imta.hostnamealiases) Where am I going wrong?

Thanks,

Steve Liebhart

Do you mean having users with say mailhost: hostA and mailhost: hostB in their LDAP entries but having a single message store be responsible for both hostA and hostB?

If yes then what you describe is correct. The values are comma separated, no space. I seem to recall a bug in 5.1 with some configutil parameter, might have affected others. Get the latest hotfix bundle and check the BUGLIST file to see if something corrected might help.

You did do a ./imsimta refresh _and_ rerun a FULL dirsync, right? If not you need to do so.
