Can S1MQ talk to CICS?

Does anybody know whether S1MQ can talk to IBM CICS? Our customer seeks for a cheaper messaging solution between iAS 6.0 and an IBM mainframe.

They use JMS over MQSeries between the application server and the mainframe. On the mainframe side there is an MQSeries-CICS bridge, so that they can pass messages further - I think that they want to communicate to a program called something like TT0.
