Problems using JMQ 2.0Beta on Linux

We are having problems with the JMQ2.0 Beta release downloaded from iplanet,

jmq2_0-try-linx86.tar.gz.

In following the jmqadmin.pdf, we installed the package. No passwd file was created in /var/opt/SUNWjmq/security, so we created an empty one and populated it with jmqusermgr.

The documentation seems to indicate this passwd file should have been created by the install process.

We can start the jmqbroker, but cannot use jmqcmd. The results of any attempt to use jmqcmd are:

WARNING: [B4051] Forbidden xxxxxx.

Followed by exceptions.

There are also some exceptions caused by a missing accesscontrol.properties.

The installation procedure created a file called accesscontrol_rbac.properties, we copied

this to accesscontrol.properties with no useful results.

Please help. We are intending to use Linux extensively in our system, which

is based around SUN JMQ. This is hampering our development efforts.

After installed the package, did you do

cp -r /opt/SUNWjmq/var.init/* /var/opt/SUNWjmq

? This will copy the passwd and accesscontrol.properties to

the proper directory. (see "Installing JMQ on Linux" in INSTALL file).

If you don't find the passwd and accesscontrol.properties files in

/opt/SUNWjmq/var.init after install, please let me know.
