The Developer Edition contains two licenses. The first license allows for up to 5

connections. This is the default license. It does not expire. The second license that is

shipped with the product allows for unlimited connections to the broker. This license

expires 90 days from the date it is first used.

To enable the 90 day trial license you must start the broker with the -license option:

% jmqbroker -license try

The broker will display a message indicating when this license will expire.

Expiration of the 90 day unlimited connection license will not effect your ability to use

the default 5 connection license which does not expire. If you start the broker without

the -license option you will get the default 5 connection license. Both licenses are for

development purposes only. You must purchase the Enterprise Edition of the product

in order to deploy your applications using Sun ONE Message Queue.
