tuning a java ejb application

Hi,

I have a j2EE application deployed on iws6 and ias6.5.

please let me know all tuning parameters i should change. right now i am just using default paramers. may be i can improve the performance. I use Beans and database is oracle.

Also let me know any app server tuning if required.

The application is mid sized.
