How can I change the background color of Calendar express?

I have changed the background color in default_user_prefs file but it was not working.

You have to change the default.html in your calendar directory <root-Calendar>/SUNWics5/cal/bin/html/<your language used with the calendar directory>/default.html.When you change this document, the inlogscreen will change.
