How to build a newschannel?

Is there any possibility to build a channel, who can present a searchresult which is static? E. g.: I want the the channel to present for example 10 searchresults(which he can get over the compass server)about the keywor "iPlanet"! But the user should not be able to change these search-function!!! I hope that anybody can understand what i mean!!! :-)
