Channel Wizard; Creating JSP Channel

I am trying to create a simple JSP channel using the Channel Wizard. I have done this successfully in the past, but I also recently reinstalled iPS.

Anyway, after I click Finish, the Channel Wizard starts to process/build the JSP channel (I'm guessing), but then it seems to stall and never completes. I'm on 3SP3a.

Any ideas what might be happening? I've looked in all the logs and debug areas and I don't see anything related to this. I'm Not seeing my jsp's being compiled either.

Hi,

Check "top" process running on your system. usually this might happen when the slapd process(the one for Directory server) locks up system memory and never releases it. I beleive there was a known issue with SP2, if you are using SP3a, this may not be the case. Please analyse iwtDesktop, iwtURLScraper log files. (with ips.debug=message) for exceptions. Also check if you are abel to import the channel using "ipsadmin" command.
