At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what <nasty> server
you're using or what <nasty> language you've programmed
in ;-)
In most cases, ASP/IIS outputs HTML.
So, there's quite a few ways:
- just add a link to the bookmark channel (or similar)
The secure remote access pack (gateway) can
work seamlessly with basically any tcp/ip based
app. No additional effort required. Compass
and the Personalized Knowledge Pack can
make it searchable and let you distribute it efficiently.
Mobile Access Pack (wireless) can let you send
it to a mobile device. And I think there's some
sort of collaboration pack that lets you do
chat and poll it. - Anyone know more about
this?
- URL scraper can add any url to a channel.
- You can integrate to the portal's provider
API using XML/http or using java (though I guess
java within an MS environment is not so friendly).
There's probably a lot of other ways I haven't
ventured into yet as well. Someone sent me a link
to chillisoft
http://www.chilisoft.com/
which looked interesting...
