URL Rewrite / Sessions (Gateway) Problem?

Hi All,

I have some links withing the URLScrapper Channels that have access

to some of the non-portal applications like Messaging Server 5

(Webmail) and some Admin Console of some machines (For example:

Sunray Admin Console). The links works fine without the URL rewrite

but once the URL is being rewritten. The links allow me to go to the

login page but I cannot move further after the login. The messagin

server

just give me a blank page and the admin consoles will return to my

portal

page. The Calendar Server link works fine.

Any ideas how to resolve the problem or what is the possible problem?

Is there anything I can do from the configuration of the Portal Server/

Gateway?

Please email me bhchew@sun.com

Thanks,

Boon Hong

iPlanet/Sun documented a bug fix for Messaging 4.X and 5.X webmail feature

and Portal.

There are change to be made to your main.js file in the webmail directory.

Once the change are done it should work fine.

On our side we are having a lot of difficulties between webmail and

Portal. We are in the proccess of compiling all the problems that are

specific to webmail (used by IE and Netscape) and all the problems we are

having with webmail when passing thrue the Portal Gateway... At this

point, the only thing I can say is that the list is ... very ... long.

The Portal Support Team and the NMS Support Team are working closely with

us to resolve all the issues.
