Netlet detected Netscape 6.x - and guess what?
NS6.x is incompatible with iPS3.

Netscape security model is no longer supported.
Please migrate to the Java 2 security model instead.
End of story - Netlet will not load.
There is no fix or workaround (except use IE or an older NS)- at least
none that tech support could identify.
Sorry if this is old news to this group.I still can't believe it.

I too faced the similar issue, I heard from iPlanet that Netscape 6.1 JVM's
java security model is not supported in most of the JAVA related app.
Unfortunately my environment is also one of them.

Netscape 6.x is not currently supported ..
Due to the netlet architecture it is currently sensitive to the browser used
and jvm of the browser. The netlet was architected for netscape 4.x and ie
which uses jvm 1.15 and 1.14 respectively.
To support netlet in netscape 6.x, the netlet code has to reviewed, maybe
redesigned and tested thoroughly.
This is under consideration for the next release for portal ..
