Outlook Web Access/Exchange 2000/IE/Portal SP3 issues

I am attempting to figure out why OWA for exchange 2k breaks, when accessed

through the portal, when using IE. I can see when I look at the source

of the page that two java script variable are being rewritten, g_szUserBase

and g_szVirtualRoot. I have added these to the section of gateway

management

for javascipt variable to be rewritten. Unfortunately they are being

rewritten.

OWA does work for Communicator, but that is because it serves up a

different html page for non IE broswers. Unfortunately, I cannot mandate

that the users use a non IE browser.

Has anyone seen this, fixed it, or configured OWA to serve up the HTML given

to non IE browsers to IE?

Outlook Web Access for Exchange 2k uses some xml and style sheets. The gateway

didn't handle them correctly.

There is a patch available with tech support, please check with tech support to

see how you can get it.
