Installing SP3 problems
Can someone explain this stupidity?
I am attempting to upgrade and existing SP2 portal to SP3. I run the
install script (after installing the solaris patches) and the script
fails, telling me I do not have enough space in /etc/opt I have
180 MB of space in /, how much space is needed? To my knowledge,
/etc/opt is used for configureation files (platform.conf) and the
templates. That was not more and a meg before.

Kent,
By default ipsinstall for SP3 requires at least 200 MB of free space in
the partition in which /etc/opt resides and the partitions in which
/var/opt resides. If you feel confident that you do not require this
much space, drop me an email and I can tell you how to get around this.
