Empty Content Page
Hi,
I am new to iPlanet Portal Server.
I am trying to add a new channel to my portal server. I just followed the
instructions
available for QuotationProvider in the help file.
Now, when I click on Content link on the home page after I login, I get a
blank page
with no data whatsoever. I was hoping to see my new channel show up in the
list
of available channels. I did not customize to the portal server desktop.
How do I get it back to the way it was before I added the QuotationProvider
channel?

For what it's worth, turning on logging saves my butt trying to figure out
problems like this.
Edit the /etc/opt/SUNWips/platform.conf file and change the loggin line to
ips.debug= message.
Then examine the logs in /var/opt/SUNWips/debug and look for
exceptions/errors.

PS. Good idea to make a backup of the platform.conf before you edit it.

Not sure what are the different steps you followed to add Quotation provider
but if you are following the manuls you would need to read Chapter 3 of
administrators guide and the programmers reference. That has detailed steps on
how to add the quotation provider.
