Why can I receive mail from a client PC, but not send mail out?

I'm running iPlanet Messaging Suite 5.0 with Netscape Directory Server 4.12 on a Solaris 8 machine, which is also my DNS server. From that server, I can send and receive mail through Netscape Messenger. When I connect to the server from a client PC, I can receive mail through Netscape Messenger but I am unable to SEND mail out. I was, however, able to SEND mail out if I used the Service Admin account. The PCs are running Windows NT 4.0 Workstation with C2 security on them. I'm totally baffled, and hope someone can help. Thanks.

Since you do not mention any specific errors messages its hard to say, but I suspect you need to update your INTERNAL_IP mapping in msg-<instance>/imta/config/mappings file. Default is just the server itself.
