iMS 5.2 Problem with Mailboxes

I have installed iMS5.2 on Solaris. I have it set for Direct LDAP.

I am able to create new users using iDA as well as imadmin. The users appear in the directory and are marked as "active". These users can even log into MessageExpress. However they can not receive mail.

When I check, no mail boxes have been created in /store. When I try to use the hashdir utility, I get back the following message:"General Critical: func=configmsg-init;error: can not find config file; file=msg.conf; msg=make sure you set CONFIGROOT environment variable to the directory containing the config file. I saw nothing about CONFIGROOT in the installation documents.

msg.conf seems to be in the correct location. What did I do wrong and how do I fix it?

Thanks!
