Compiled or interpreted?

Hello everyone,

Is there a way in TOOL to determine whether a partition is running in compiled or interpreted mode?

Thanks,

Hi Richard,

There does not seem to be any documented instrument of the

partition agent to tell you that.

May be you can use the instrument giving you the Pid of the partition

and then check for the existence of a forte_ex_<Pid>.log file in the

log directory, which would mean the partition is running interpreted.

(Note that checking for the existence may not be sufficient because

the file may exist from a previous interpreted run, you should also

check if the file is opened in R/W mode by the partition process).

Not an elegant solution, but the only one I can think of !

Hope this helps,
