Character mode Forte
We have a need to access forte service objects from character based
applications (Unix). Our preference is to use the new API calls in R3.
We have had no luck with COBOL as apparently it is not thread safe. We
are also Oracle forms (v3) users and I was wondering if any one has
successfully talked to Forte using user exits to c/c++.
Thanks in advance

Hi Michael :
I don't know if you think in this possible, but why don't you
use the external connection class to do this?
With external connection you can communicate different programs
with forte using ports.
Hope this help you
