iAS 4.1SP3 install problem
When installing iAS 4.1 SP3 on Windows 2000 Professional, I get the
following error message:
Unable to get User Directory Suffix from Directory Server
The problem occurs when I get to the dialog box for "iPlanet Application
Server Administration Server Authentication". I'm asked to input a username
and password and it says the "Setup will authenticate this information when
you click Next if you are using an existing Directory Server. Make sure you
enter either an existing Administration Server user name and password or
create a new one by entering a new user naame and password."
I use the same user name/password that I use to enter the Netscape Console.
At this point I click next and get the above message.
The install exits at this point and I can proceed no further. iWS 4.1 is
already installed as well as the Directory Server and Admin Server. All the
other components run fine. I do have a static IP address for this machine so
I know it's not related to that.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
victor

Um...I'm smoking something...as you've figure out already...I'm actually
trying to install iAS 6.0 SP3. I was confusing the version number with iWS.
My bad.
