ksvradmin:java.lang.InternalError: Unsupported 16 bit depth
Hello,
I am trying to access the App. server that's on Sparc Solaris 8 from my
Linux desktop.
When I try to launch ksvradmin, I get an error
ksvradmin:java.lang.InternalError: Unsupported 16 bit depth
I understand this problem has been fixed in SDK 1.3.1. So I installed
SDK 1.3.1.I still have the same problem.
Any help is appreciated

It seems you have problem in linux. From command prompt(linux) type
Xconfiger. Set it to 24 bits or 32 bits. If possible adjust the window
size. It will work.

Hi,
There is no problem with iAS, problem is only with settings of
linux, just run Xconfigurator and
make color depth 24 bits, It must not give any problem.
Just sending the sequence of steps to be followed below,
At the command prompt:
1.Xconfigurator
2.xhost +
3.telnet hostname
4.export DISPLAY=hostname:0.0
5.ksvradmin
