Java Support on Windows CE

Hi,

I want to know whether I could run Java on Windows CE. If I can where can I get the JVM for windows ce. Can you also tell is there anyproblems in usin java on windows ce as we are planning to run java applications on handhelds used in warehouses. So need tcp/ip support etc. If anybody coud give me some idea on this matter. Appreciae your help..

hi,

you can try the creme runtime environment (http://www.nsicom.com/ , http://www.nsicom.com/products/creme.asp ) for windowsCE. i have installed it on a siemens tp270 (MIPS) windowsCE 3.0 system. but you can download it for different devices.

the only problem i have, at the moment, is to get access to the printer device. but i think thats a windowsCE based problem and not a java problem.
