Java is looking cool
This is a bit of random post and so I apologise, but i dont know anywhere else I could get all excited about the new snazzy get java buttons.
They are just the best thing in the world ever, it makes java look a lot more competant (sounds silly i know, but there old no buttons and horrible download screen just looked really terrible compared to the likes of macromedia's flash) and not only that but the www.java.com is actually promoting games for all types.....mobile, desktop and internet which is again excellent......now most of you guys have already probably noticed all this, im just a bit slow on the uptake lol

I realy hope this is meant to be a joke thread :-/
If Sun wastes time adding new look&Feels or any other bolox like that (before dealing with the serious issues of the low level APIs being totally wanked up),
I will quite possibly have to go round to their head office and :BEEP: :BEEP: :BEEP: :BEEEEEEEEEEEP:

No kidding. Write your own look and feel, or use a third-party L&F. The whole point is, they're pluggable.
