Exclusive screen mode

I want to write a game using Exclusive mode of the screen (ie I take full control of what appears on screen) How can I do this?Daniel

You can check out my game engine I did using this www.naturalgamer.com/SchlugAttuck.jar and you will see you wont get an impressive fps. If you want though, I can send you the source code.darcone@naturalgamer.com
