A little advice on Team Development

Hello,

Until recently I was the only developer for the company. With new developers working here, how can I implement some kind of team enviroment for updateing the code. Trying to avoid a complete mess with someone changing code and not everyone else getting it, or losing code.

Looking for some place to read up on this or if you can make suggestions.

BTW, no server in the company, just workgroup.
