GraphGame

Hello

I would like to have some feedback about that game : http://www.venihayet.netteyim.net/GraphGame.htm

I know that it's not much enjoyable because it has to be played with two players so you must find somebody and for each time you must give the other the mouse.

But I can't do it better because I don't know much about networking (in fact nothing) and making AI would be difficult :(

And, I'm not good in English, can you say me after having seen the game which is the appropriate word? "pawn"? "stone"?

Thank you all.

Interesting... I'd probably use the word "stone" to describe the pieces. Of course, with the board looking like a spiderweb, you could always do some kind of take off on that... Make the pieces little spiders or something, and actually call the game Spiderweb...

Single player or networked versions would be really cool... Tougher, yes, but cooler.

Oh, and by the way, the second link works fine for me in IE...

i don't know if you would count this as a "bug" or not, but you can simply move just one piece of a sequence that is already 3 in a row back and forth and virtually make it in impossible for the opponent to stop you (as you eliminate one of his pieces every other turn). Should there be a check of some sorts to ensure the same sequence does not get made twice in a row?

and if you get 2 rows next 2 each other, you can move 1 piece between the 2, and remove 1 of their pieces *every* go :)

No, it's not a bug. The game is not my own fantasy, it's a game played in Turkey (I learned it from my father who played it when he was child)and these are the rules. I ever thought to forbid that "cheating", but I didn't do that.

But the palyer with only 3 stones may go everywhere, and if the winning player doesn't prepare himself for that, he can also lose all his stones .
