Special F/X
This isn't strictly gaming releated but...
I have created a little framework called Special F/X that can be used to write display tricks/fx/demos. The programmer only has to sub-class one class and the program runs in full screen mode under 1.4. You create a display trick and place it in program as a plug-in. The program then allows the user to cycle through the plug-ins with the right and left arrow keys.
I'm hosting it on my site www.scottshaver2000.com and if anyone is interested in contributing that is great. Just send me the source and any images/sounds ect needed by your class. I'll add it to the web site after making sure it doesn't do anything bad like formatting the user hard drive.
Ther is a simple example trick called Lines1 in the program on the site. Looking at this you should be able to figure out what to do, if not just ask.
