What a blatant off-topic post! That's not an Advanced Language Topic!

Sorry if this offends you, but some aspects of Java game development are considered advanced programming to many. Also, there are many developers who frequent this forum that may be interested in Java game development.**** NourieSun Microsystems

Um obviously someone hasn't tried to do smmoth scrolling at 60fps under Java2d. Neither have they tried to create a simple full screen window that works seamlessly under 1.2, 1.2, 1.3 and 1.4. Oh, what about a 100% pure timer that's accurate on any platform that can time down to 60fps?

It's all real simple ( NOT ).

Neither is J2EE. Nor internationalization. Nor any other number of topics.

I don't believe the topic of this forum is to announce that other forums are open. And there already is a forum for that and this announcement already occurs there.

I can't believe you people are actually upset that the forum administrator posted a notice that another forum is open.

Actually I am upset that posts are being deleted from forums when they are on topic, under the guise that they are not on-topic. Yet posts that are obviously not on-topic are not being deleted. And this includes ones with numerous complaints.
