GUI ?

I'm using a Window component with a background image. I don't want to show certain specific parts of the image i.e. a specific rgb value and behind that RGB value, I want to make the window transparent over the desktop. Examples of such GUI's are

Windows Media Player (skinned)

Sonique MP3 Player (skinned)

Media Ring (skinned)

Help needed urgently ....
