JDK 1.2 or JDK 1.1.x for Jeode?

Hi,

I want to use Jeode PDA Edition and I already have the Jeode EVM on my iPaq. The Jeode PDA Edition web site says the implementation is based on Personal Java 1.2 spec; but somewhere in the FAQ it is mentioned that JDK 1.1.8 is to be used to develop applications. Shouldn't JDK 1.2 be used (as mentioned in the Sun website)?
