Web Application Architecture

Does anyone have any recommendations in regards to a Web Application Architecture using Servlets, JSPs and other J2EE components (v1.2.1)? Books, Web sites, anything.

I'm looking for some architecture suggestions/patterns for a large scale Web Application, as well as some concrete examples.

All I've really found so far is The Brazil Project, but I'm looking for some more alternatives.
