Help! IE and Frontpage Crash w/applets

I built a fairly big calendar applet and deployed it (i think it has five different classes.) i converted an html file using the newest HTML Converter (it uses swing.) If it doesn't find the class, it gives a classnotfound error as usual but when it finds the applet, it crashes immediately. When i do it on an XP system, it asks if i want to make an error report. When i do it on a 98 system, it says there was an unexpected runtime in IE. Any more information you need? What do i need to do to get this applet that works fine in applet viewer to work in IE?
