Making my verry own chatroom.

Someone please help me i want to make my verry own chatroom.Without sponcers like bravenet and bassen.How can i do that.Please Help Thanks

You can do this with JMS, in the book "Professional JMS Programming" from "wrox", you start with an example of an chat room, there is yust the problem that you have to have a web space with the accsess to an JMS compatible Message server.

You don't run your site on your own Server, hmm.

If so you can download the j2ee server, that works well.

ive been bought a dell xps 700 dual core 2 system with double 3.0 exstreme chips and 4 gig of memory .... and im intrested in turnin it into a chatroom server
