When I start my applet the system restarts!!!

Sometimes when I start my applet, Windows shows the well known blue screen claiming some problem with the memmory or something. After that, the whole system crashes and restarts. I just don't know what could be wrong.... Any help?

I'm a REAL newbie, but I somehow managed to get a similar error message I believe when I made a loop that never ended; it kept on repainting and after some minutes it crashed and I had to restart, uh, guess this is not of much help since you said you were a programmer for years, but you can always try eh?

I already checked the loops, an it's definitely not that. I get the blue screen exactly when I access my applet but the strange thing is that it's not EVERY time, just sometimes. Anyway, thanks for the help Exulter!
