Anybody ever use BWT?

I'm having a problem using Sitraka's bwt components, specifically the JCMultiColumnList. Sometimes, when calling the validate() method, my applications freezes. Is there anything special I need to know when laying out these bwt components?

P.S. The problem is much more frequent on slower PC's (all OS's are the same: Windows 2000).
