Version 2.3 &2.3 IS delivered with GemXpresso 211 v2 &GemXpresso 211v2 IS

,which are java card 2.1 &Visa Open plat form 2.0 compliant.

See and now

Version 2.4 &2.4 IS ,delivered with GemXpresso 211 PK and GemXpresso PK IS

cards ,which are Java Card 2.1 (including Java Card 2.1.1 on bord key

hello

Thanks a lot for your info.

See my aim is to give authentication for registered members of the

site. So the site will authenticate thru Smart card.

Also i need to make a small kind of application like e-purse which can

make payment for my auction site(a kind of e-wallet)

So please recommend me considering the above 2 points which would be the

best of product .. 1>. 211 PK or 2>. 211 V2 or any other best suited.

Thanks alot

Hi,you're thinking of using GemXpresso: have you done a benchmark of the other Java cards in the market? Have you heard about Schlumberger or Oberthur's cards?I'm searching for this info to choose a convenient platform too.ThksPierre

I recommend you go with the GemPKI card. It contains RSA while the IS is DES. Since you want to offer the card for online purchases at the auction site, make sure you've read the Global Platform for that is the Visa move. That way, you are on the same page with Visa. I think AmEx and MasterCard are also adopting Global Platform.

Also check out Schlumberger, their cards implement PKI, but the kit is rather buggy.
