javacomm-parallel port write

I have Windows ME. I followed all the instructions and tried the ex. SimpleWrite. It compiles fine, but when I run it i.e. java SimpleWrite, it does nothing and I get the DOS prompt - no error message and no printing.Please help

hi, i also am trying to read the parallel port and i'm using this program i obtained from somewhere else giving me errors, i would like to know where did u get the SimpleWrite program..any other method of reading the parallel port that works is fine too..thanks!
