my sunOS5.7 can not support Chinese with JDK1.2.2

I can't find the patch to support Simple Chinese(GB2312) for SunOS 5.7 and JDK1.2.2 or later, and when i install the OS ,I had already set the right Chinese support Env.My C program can spit Chinese,but my classes can not spit Chinese code while working on SunOS 5.7(sparcsolaris).I'm using the iPlanet WebSever which can work only with JDK1.2.2 or later.Help mi please or give a useful patch(my English is poor,sorry).
