very basic jdbc qu from newbie

hi,

I am using a W98 platform and want to use Access dbases... Under FFJ 2.0 I set up a link using a rather complicated process involving a third party driver and an MS-DOS console which had to run the driver at the same time as the java prog.

In FFJ 3.0 I see there's all this nice-looking DB wizardry... but I can't make head or tail of the instructions for use.. there's all this stuff about URLs to the database and database schemas, and it doesn't seem to say, simply, how to establish a simple link to an Access db on a W98 platform... can anybody point me anywhere for info? thanks

Mike

sorry, my mistake, only saw FF not FFJ, you are referring to Forte.
