Sending Mail through an application

Dear Friends

I am developing client server applications. I use RMI Technolgy for some of my applications too.

I would like to make my application mail activated. The user should be able to send a mail to a desired location using a standard GUI provided by me.How can I go about it ? Please send source code if possible so that I can try out the same.
