MIF doclet and FrameMaker+SGML

Hi Docs,

I want to use the MIF doclet to generate PDF files. My problem is that I only have the FrameMaker+SGML version from Adobe. This is version 5.5.2.

When I run my examples that comes with the MIF doclet I get the error message:

"FrameMaker:

Invalid command line option: /progid:dzbatch"

Does anyone know if I can get this version of FrameMaker to work with the MIF doclet? How?

Thanks in advance for your help.

It appears you are running on MS Windows, due to the "dzbatch"

error. When you omit the "-print pdf" option, does it generate

the MIF files properly?

If so, then I suggest you send an email to dzbatcher@datazone.com

asking them if dzbatcher works with FrameMaker + SGML.

They have been quite responsive to use in the past,

fixing any bugs we've uncovered.

Hi Doug,

yup- Windows...

Yes, the files are created properly. I have checked the dzbatch docs, and they actually tell you how to do it. A little RTFM goes a long way!

It still does not work (as described in the docs) so I have emailed them. Thanks for your help!
