Unable to Install user.policy file on a Windows 2000 server.

with Java plugin 1.2.2, could not install my policy file on a windows 2000 server.but the same install program works well on a NT 4.0 server..is there any workaround for this?

try to put the policy file in a directory where you have read/write access and modift java.security to point that directory.

Your query is not that much clear, you are talking about the installation of ploicy file. I am not clear in it.

Generally policyfile are created with policytool command.

Please see this URL in order to know where the policy file should be stored and how it can be used.
