Connect to https using servlet

hi all, i'm new to java as well as SSL.now i wish to write a servlet that can be used to connected to a https site, what are the things that i need to do? and can i have some sample code to test it? thanks

yes i did. but i'm newbie, all those post seems difficult for me, and most of them are not talking about servlet.i need a starting point !!!if you dont want to help just leave it
