Certificates installed dont Show in control panel

Why does the control panels tab not show any installed certificates? Does this only show non-root certificates? and you need a chain to show certificates? How does one make a chain if so?

hi. if i go to the CERTIFICATES in the plug-in panel in the CONTROL PANEL i DO see the certs. I have no idea what chain is, i just signed an applet, and since the first time i agreed to trust this cert it's appearing at the certs tab.HTH.

I think you are confusing the *trusted CA list* with the listof software signers you have explicitly chosen to trust onan ongoing basis (the list in PI control panel "Cert" pane).See: http://home.iSTAR.ca/~neutron/trustlist/

I have come to think that what is shown in the list are the certs which are chained to the trustedCA certs, and not the CA certs themselves.
