java3D installation problem

Downloaded java3d-1_2_1_01-win32-directx-sdk.exeInstallAnywhere didn't show me the JVM selection screen and it didn't install anything. The registry has the JavaSoft SDK 1.3 & runtime 1.3 entries. I am running Windows ME with DirectX 8.0Any idea ?
OK, Looks like this is a known problem with Java3D, JDK 1.3.1 and WinME. http://www.j3d.org/installing.htmlIs there a vanilla zip file available ? Maybe I can simply install the jar to the right place bypassing installAnywhere (but here) ?
