Debug SIM applets

Is there a way to debug SIM card applets with the use of Visual J++. By placing breakpoints to trace into the applet while it is being executed?

I've tried Schlumberger's Simera Dev't kit and it says that I can integrate the kit with Visual J++.

Where can i get a document that has a comprehensive lists of the status word and their meaning? Preferrably, with details on what caused the status word.

Ex. 6D00 - unknown instruction code - possible causes are...

To do this type of debugging a PC-based card simulator would be required. This is available and your local SLB representative should be able to help you out with obtaining this.

For a list of the status words, contact your local Schlumberger representative and they'll send you a user/developers guide.
